ARTIST STATEMENT
This series of work uses the medium of glass to represent the mundane objects of mass
consumption. Planned obsolescence. Ultra convenience. Wastfulness. Soda bottles crushed
by cars in the street. Beer cans lying about the yard. Trash as Culture: the modern aesthetic of
our American streets.
