ARTIST STATEMENT
I am interested in the things that we all share but that don't show up so clearly in terms of emotional changes arising from the process of living, or stored experiences or memories that are acquired day by day. I am creating compositions to make people aware once more of these inchoate things we have in common. I also see these creations as a way to share my worldview; they are an element in getting my ideas across. In this exhibit named "Inner Vessel," you will find glass that fills a vessel or body and faintly shines some light through cracks and peeled away portions on the surface of that body, as if to indicate what exists within.
